Connecting Ideas in Community

Ideas need a community to help them grow and flourish, just as a garden requires a nutritious soil and water.

For TEDx Calgary, this is why we focus equally on building a community of ideators as we do on amplifying ideas that are ready to be shared. If you've ever tried, you’ll know that coming up that will stand the test of time is not an easy endeavor. Most often, our initial thoughts need to go through a maturation process by deliberately colliding them with ideas of others. Like making a flint tool, each collision with complementary or competing ideas helps sharpen our concept and improve it.
